Kristine M.I. Knudsen

Producer and Partner 

Knudsen is an experienced film producer and founder of Den siste skilling AS in Bergen, as well as co- founder of Knudsen Pictures GmbH (former Knudsen & Streuber Medienmanufaktur GmbH in Berlin. She is an Alumni of Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg, MEGA, EAVE and Inside Pictures. Her track record includes the animated family feature film RICHARD THE STORK (Dir: Toby Genkel & Reza Memari), which premiered at Berlinale Generation 2017. The film was a German/ Belgian/ Luxembourg / Norwegian coproduction which sold worldwide and was theatrically released in 62 countries. Knudsen also produced HEVN (REVENGE), a Norwegian- Canadian thriller (Dir: Kjersti G. Steinsbø) in 2015 as well as German/ Norwegian drama NÅDE/ MERCY (Dir: Matthias Glasner) which premiered in Berlinale Competition 2012. Knudsen was nominated for “European Animation Producer of the year 2017” at Cartoon Movie and was awarded the Bavarian Film Award for “Best German Children’s Film” 2018. Knudsen is Vice-President in the Board of European Animation Awards, co- chairwoman of Animation Norway and EAVE´s coordinator for Norway. She also holds lectures, workshops and moderates.
